There’s a lot to love on this new invention of chapstick! Firstly, they chose good unique flavors. Who would have thought of incorporating the scent of grapefruit, green tea, and papaya. These are not common compared to apples that are literally overflowing during the apple picking in autumn season. Lip balms are much more needed on fall to winter, but it does not mean that everything should be pumpkin spiced or apple flavored!
Secondly, they are all natural! We always love natural and less preservatives in everything as much as possible, am I right? It even contains healthy ingredients from natural sources like coconut oil, olive oil, sunflower oil, avocado oil, shea butter and beeswax.
Third, the scents of these three are great. Grapefruit is more of citrus; papaya is sweet; and green tea is minty smell. The smell don’t last long though, but it’s fine since you wouldn’t really want to smell fruity when talking or kissing someone!
Going to the more important issue of its hydrating effect, I would give it a 9. It’s not a perfect score, because I did not feel that it lasted 8 hours as it claimed. It stays for a long period of time, but you still need to actually retouch unless you wouldn’t eat or drink for 8 hours straight.
When it comes to the feel of the lip butter, it is light and not too waxy! I think that this feature is the best compliment for this lip moisturizer. You don’t need to apply a lot since it sticks to your lips right away and keeps your lips soft!
